Terms of service

Vibecatcher is a place to gather scraps of sound, image, and text into vibes, and to share them when you choose. By creating an account or using the service (on the web or in the iOS app), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You own everything you bring in. You keep every right you had before you uploaded it. We claim no ownership over your content, ever.

So that the service can work, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content, only as needed to run vibecatcher: keeping your scraps safe, showing your vibes back to you, delivering them to people you send them to, publishing the ones you cast, and pressing the zines you ask us to press. This license ends when you delete the content, except for copies already delivered to people you shared it with.

Upload only content you created or have the right to use. Do not upload content that is illegal, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that harasses or harms others. We may remove content or close accounts that break this rule.

If something on vibecatcher infringes your rights, email halzinnia@gmail.com with a link and a description and we will look at it promptly.

Content you cast is public. Content you send by link is visible to anyone who holds the link. Think before you cast; we cannot unring a bell someone else already heard, though un-sharing and deleting stop any further access.

Some features cost money. Prices are shown before you pay, billing is handled by Stripe, and you can cancel any time; your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Fair warning rather than fine print: storage limits exist so the free tier stays free.

We work hard to keep vibecatcher healthy, and you should still keep copies of anything irreplaceable. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You can stop using vibecatcher any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

We may update these terms; material changes get a new effective date on this page, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Questions go to halzinnia@gmail.com.
